History
The firm was started in February 1973 by Andrew Sinclair with a second hand JCB 3C Registration No. KRS 962G originally undertaking drainage and small plant hire before quickly diversifying into civil engineering works and rapidly followed by building works.
Although the company has diversified over the years, Plant and Machinery remain a significant focus.
This is an article from The Orcadian on 7 June 1973 when Andrew took delivery of his first new machine - a MF 50B, the first in Orkney.

Twenty Years later at the County show 1993 Andrew Sinclair’s new diggers became an unusual attraction, dancing at the show park.
And today this faithful workhorse is still going strong after 38 years.
